WALKING ROUTES |
| In the area around the Residential Complex there are several signposted routes for nature lovers to enjoy. The Ruta Roja, or Red Route, leads through a landscape of pine and eucalyptus trees to the Raja Ancha, a narrow path between two rocks which ends in a vantage point with glorious panoramic views. Other routes are la Verde, or Green, which passes through the Cueva Oscura (Dark Cave) and la Azul (Blue) which takes you to a Bronze Age necropolis and ends at the El Santo Viewing Point. It is also worth pointing out the proximity of Pizarra to El Chorro Nature Park. |

FESTIVALS |
| As well as the typical festivals of the Carnival, Semana Santa (Holy Week) and the fair, Pizarra has the very special Romería (Pilgrimage) de El Santo, in which the inhabitants of the town flock to the place known as El Santo in Sierra de Gibralmora where the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús is situated. |

GASTRONOMY |
| The custom in Pizarra is to go out and eat tapas, or bar snacks. The town’s gastronomy is based on the rich vegetable garden of the Guadalhorce Valley. Some examples include gazpacho, soups with crushed tomatoes, peppers and breadcrumbs and ground asparagus. For dessert there are small pies, Cerralba rolls and fig bread doughnuts. |

The Pizarra Residential Complex is only minutes from the capital, Málaga, and the Costa del Sol towns. This location enables its residents to access all the services offered by one of the most densely populated areas in Andalucía.
There is a centre for companies in Pizarra where stocking-up purchases can be made. The proximity of Málaga and Marbella meets more specific needs: large shopping centres, hospitals, international schools… Pizarra combines to perfection quiet town life and the mobility of coastal towns.
